This is a picture of my first abstract painting for Painting and Printmaking class. Mrs. Seitz had us pick a bible verse and paint what the verse was saying in an abstract way. For my bible verse I chose 2 Corinthians 5:7, “For we live by faith, not by sight.” I went with the idea of the center being God and everything surroudning it is what God created. I really enjoyed this project because there weren’t many limits and I was able to have fun with it. I used the painting style of aggressively striking the canvas. I had my friends and I strike the canvas. This painting is symbolic of all emotions we deal with into one center point.
